Ce jeudi 20 février 2025, Haïti perd une de ses plus grandes figures intellectuelles et culturelles, le Professeur Franck Etienne. Écrivain, poète, dramaturge et homme de lettres, Franck Etienne a marqué de son empreinte le paysage littéraire et artistique du pays. À travers son œuvre riche et variée, il a su aborder des thèmes profonds relatifs à l’identité, à la société et à l’histoire d’Haïti, tout en cultivant une réflexion originale sur l’humain et son rapport au monde. Sa disparition laisse un vide immense dans le monde académique et artistique haïtien, mais son héritage littéraire continue de vivre et d’inspirer les générations futures.
